Business Analysts PL is an Australian owned and operated company established in September 2004. Our offices are located in Brisbane – Head Office, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide. We have extensive experience throughout Australia and abroad providing business analysis services in the public and private sectors.

Business Analysts PL has worked across the Utilities, Telecommunications, Transport Logistics & Infrastructure, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Hardware & Software Services, Oil Distribution and Government sectors (Education, Health, Police). We have expertise in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), and specialise in developing Business Analysis "Centre of Excellence" (BACoE) and performing business analysis maturity assessment.

Director/Senior Consultant - Tim Coventry

With over 18 years experience Tim has designed, created and delivered business analysis courses based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®). He has established Business Analysis Centres of Excellence BACoE, developed a Business Analyst Competency Program including the competency assessment, individual training/development plans, and mentoring modules.

Tim has expertise in all phases of the solution delivery life cycle with substantial practical experience in business process analysis, requirements, tendering and evaluation and software implementation. Tim has a Bachelor of Education, Workplace Category IV Trainer and Assessor certificate, and is a Qualified Business Analysis Practitioner (QBAP).

With a strong background in education and assessment Tim has a keen interest in business analysis competency models and is a member volunteer on the IIBA® Global Competency Model committee.

Director/Senior Consultant- Peter Ebborn

With 25 years experience across a comprehensive range of IT roles including Senior Business Analyst, Project Manager, Systems Analyst, Information Architect, Development Team Leader, Tester and Programmer in the utilities, telecommunications, transport, financial services, pharmaceutical, mining and government sectors. He has expertise in requirements elicitation and analysis, requirements planning, requirements management and traceability, business process modeling and re-engineering, business case development, tender preparation and evaluation.

Peter has designed, created and delivered business analysis courses based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®). He has established Business Analysis Communities of Practice CoP, developed a Business Analyst Competency Program including the competency assessment, individual training/development plans, and mentoring modules. He has also practical experience and understanding in all phases of the software development life cycle with formal training and substantial practical experience in Object Oriented and Relational methodologies and architectures.

Peter has undertaken post-graduate studies in Internet and Web Computing, a degree in Accounting and Business Computing and is a Qualified Business Analysis Practitioner (QBAP).
